By statute, we must receive a copy of your commission certificate before we can process your notary seal.  Please email your commission certificate to:  Info@NotaryExpress.com.  Your stamp and supplies will be shipped within 5 days of receiving proof of your notary commission.  If you have sent us your commission verification or have other supply questions, please contact us.

  •  This notary supply statute does not apply to Wisconsin notaries.  Orders will be processed within 5 days of your Wisconsin commission approval. 

If you have received a notice from Notary Express stating we have submitted your application to the State, you can check the status of your commission by visiting your state's website. Please allow time for the state to review and process your application. Once approved, your new commission information will become available online.

The Notary bond protects the public against any financial loss due to improper conduct by a Notary.  The bond is NOT insurance protection for notaries.

Errors & Omissions insurance is useful whenever you or your business provides a service that a client could claim negligence.  No matter how baseless the claim, it could cost thousands of dollars in legal fees. This can be avoided with the purchase of an E&O insurance policy.

Electronic notarization is not the same as remote online notarization.  An electronic notarization is the performance of a notarial act on an electronic document by a notary public using an electronic signature and electronic seal in person.   A Remote Online Notary is a legally commissioned notary public who is authorized to conduct remote online notarization over the internet via digital tools and a live audio video call with the client in a remote location.  Learn more

If your stamp is lost or stolen,  you should file a police report and send a copy of the report to the notary department of your state and retain the original report for your records. Once you have reported that your supplies are missing or stolen, click here to order replacement supplies with Notary Express. 

Due to state requirements and document scanning standards, all ink in our notary stamps is black.

The Notary Express stamp case color for the Deluxe and Pocket styles is black.  Other color options may be available by custom order at an additional cost.  Please contact us for details.

Notary seal stamps are custom made to imprint state required information. This typically includes the Notary Public's name, state of commission and date of commission expiration. Notary stamps are usually rectangular, but some states require a round stamp.   We will ship your stamp after receiving confirmation of your notary commission.

How To Use Your Notary Stamp

  • Place the document to be notarized on a firm and flat surface.
  • Place the imprinting face of your stamp flat on the document.
  • Hold your stamp with your thumb and fingers.
  • Quickly press and release.
  • The stamp image should clearly show all the letters, numbers and the stamp border/state seal.

Stamp Cleaning Tip

  • Use a piece of clear scotch tape to clean dust and debris from the raised letter surface of your stamp.

Re-Inking Your Notary Stamp

  • For our pre-inked stamp, only use an oil-based ink only when re-inking your stamp.
  • We recommend black Maxlight Ink as other types may damage your stamp.
